Making Connections: The BTR Media “Meet Us in Music City” Graphic

When BTR Media decided to head to Nashville for Amazon unBoxed, the goal was clear: create an engaging graphic that announced their presence and encouraged connections. My task was to transform this simple message into a vibrant, people-centric visual that captured the team’s spirit and the excitement of the event.
The core of this design was about showcasing the team. We wanted to make BTR Media feel approachable and friendly, putting faces to names. The challenge, however, was a common one in design: assembling a cohesive team photo when only individual headshots or upper-body images are available. This is where a creative solution, powered by AI, truly elevated the design.

AI-Powered Team Assembly: From Headshots to Full Body Presence

Traditionally, merging various headshots into a believable group photo, especially with consistent lighting and full body poses, would be a logistical and photographic nightmare. Our library primarily consisted of upper-body shots. To bridge this gap and create a seamless, unified team presentation, I leveraged AI.
Using AI generation tools, I was able to transform existing individual headshots into full-body representations. This involved carefully prompting the AI with specific poses and body types that would integrate naturally into a group composition, while meticulously maintaining the likeness of each team member. This process allowed us to achieve a diverse and dynamic group shot of the BTR Media team, all standing together as if they were present for one unified photoshoot. This not only saved immense time and resources but also opened up creative possibilities that wouldn’t have been feasible otherwise, ensuring every team member felt fully represented in the announcement.

Crafting the Visual Narrative: Music, City, and Connection

Beyond the innovative use of AI for the team imagery, the graphic’s design elements were carefully chosen to amplify the message. The bold, expressive typography for “MEET US IN MUSIC CITY” immediately draws the eye, its playful, slightly tilted stance hinting at the city’s vibrant energy. Subtle musical notes float around the headline, reinforcing the Nashville theme without overwhelming the central message.
The energetic orange brand color of BTR Media dominates the lower section, creating a warm, inviting foundation for the clear call to action: “Schedule a time to connect!” This entire composition, from the innovative team imagery to the lively typography and strategic use of branding, works together to create an inviting, memorable, and high-performing social graphic. It’s a testament to how modern design, enhanced by AI, can effectively solve visual challenges and connect people.
